GOCP is a group of individuals brought together in November 2022 by our interest in the unexplained and our desire to discover if there is truly life after death. In our quest to do so, we hope to be able to answer our many questions about this and all things paranormal. As a team of paranormal investigators, we are committed to investigating claims of paranormal activity while gathering and documenting evidence of paranormal activity and paranormal phenomena. We conduct investigations in a professional and scientific manner, using equipment and practical investigative techniques. We try to debunk claims when we can, and we NEVER conduct séances or provoke, summon, or invite dark activity or spirits into our investigations.
Our main goal is simple: GOCP is dedicated to investigating, communicating, educating, and telling the untold stories of those who passed on before us.
Erin is the founder of GOCP. She has always been fascinated by the paranormal, ever since she was little, and has had numerous experiences. Going on an official paranormal investigation has always been number one on her bucket list. And now she gets to do it almost every weekend. She looks forward to continuing to learn and grow as a paranormal investigator. The top locations she hopes to investigate one day is Trans Allegheny Lunatic Asylum and Waverly Hills.
Linnea grew up in a family that told stories about a haunted family home, and family members who saw spirits, and she herself had experiences growing up. Linnea was thrilled to join the team and collaborate with like-minded people. "It has been a great experience and super interesting. We have been lucky enough to participate in investigations where we have succeeded with EVP's, video evidence, and more!"
Christy is an investigator with GOCP. After seeing an apparition as a child, and having several unexplained experiences throughout her life, she has always been intrigued by the paranormal and the possibility of communicating with those who have passed on. As a member of GOCP, her desire is to research, communicate and educate others about the paranormal. Being a paranormal investigator is a longtime dream of hers that has finally come true thanks to GOCP. She would one day really love to visit and investigate the Winchester Mystery House and the St. Augustine Lighthouse.
Christine is a local author of three books regarding local legends and history. In 2015 Christine became the official storyteller of Miss Chris' Inlet Walking Tour, a local ghost and history tour in Murrells Inlet, SC. She is also a local historian and has lectured for Horry County Museum, Coastal Carolina University and other venues. Christine has encountered paranormal activity since childhood and continues to research and document her personal experiences as well as the local legends of the Carolina coast.
"In 2015, I was in a horrific car accident and passed away for a few minutes. After witnessing an absolutely beautiful and peaceful place, I have been so interested in the afterlife. I'm not sure what the reason was that I was allowed to come back and live life on Earth but I am thankful for it. I feel like there are lost souls out there that have not crossed over and after my experience I feel as if i could be a help, to guide them to eternal peace."
